Play as one of seven mystical characters - the pixie, the elf, the siren, the ogre, tree nymph, the dwarf and the mage - battling it out in a dungeon full of treasure! be the last one standing and come out as the victorious, most fantastical creature.
OBJECT OF THE GAME
Be the last player left standing.
SETUP
Choose one of the twelve character decks. Take the hit point tracker, hit point token and power card that match your deck, and set them on the table in front of you. Your hit point card and your power card should be face up in front of you, with your token on 15 HP. As for your deck, shuffle them, choose the top 5 cards and put the rest face down. The cards you just placed down is your pickup pile and the cards in your hand is your hand. when you put cards down, the pile made will be referred to as your discard pile. Chance cards should be in the middle of all players, face down, within reach of everybody.
GAME PLAY
Play a card from your hand by putting it onto the table in front of you. sometimes you can play more than one card in a turn but you must play at least one. Check your power card to decide which card you want to play. You can see what all the cards do on there. Put all the cards you played on this turn into your discard pile unless they have a shield on them. Cards with shield symbols stay on the table in front of you until they are destroyed - then they also go in the discard pile. Pass the turn to the player to the left.
NO MORE CARDS
If you don't have any more cards in your hand then pick up three more from your pick up pile. If you don't have any more cards in your pickup pile ten simply shuffle your discard pile and use that.
HIT POINTS
Each player starts the game with 15 HP. Whenever you play a card that deals damage to other players, they lose hit points (unless they have a shield card). When you take damage, move the token on your HP card down to show how much HP you have left. If your HP drops down to 0, you have died and your out of the game.
ATTACK
Attack cards do damage to your opponents. When you play an attack card, choose one player as the target of that attack. That player loses one HP for each sword symbol on the card (unless they have a defensive card in play).
DEFENSE
Defence cards protect you by taking damage for you. Here's everything you need to know about them:
The number of shield symbols on a defence card is the amount of damage that card can take. When you pay a defence card, place it face up on the table in front of you. It stays there until it is destroyed. Put damage tokens on the shields that have been broken. When there are no shields left on a card, it goes into the discard pile. You can have more than one defence card at once and attack cards cant do damage to you HP card until all defence cards are destroyed. If an attack card deals more than enough damage to get rid of defence card, any remaining damage goes to other defence cards, or to you.
PICK UP CARDS
Pick up cards let you pick up extra cards. When you play a pick up card, put one card into your hand for each plus symbol on that card.
HEALING
Healing cards let you recover from damage. When you play a healing card, you get one hit point back for each heart symbol on the card.
PLAY AGAIN
Play again cards let you play more cards on your turn. When you play a play again card, you can play an extra card for each lightening bolt symbol on that card. The extra cards used from that card can also be play again cards. Your turn won't end until you have played a card for each lightening symbol on the card. If you play all the cards in your hand before finishing your play again action, draw three more card from your deck and keep going until you finish.
SPECIAL POWERS
Each character has some special abilities that are unique to that character. When you play one of these card, just do what the power card says.
CHANCE CARDS
In your deck, there will be 2 cards that tell you to draw a chance card. These are the cards in the middle of everyone. When you play one of these cards, pick the top card up and do what it says. These card can either be good for you or bad for you. For example, the card can tell you to heal 5 HP or it can tell you that everyone has to take 5 damage.
